Corporate ownership and d/b/a disclosure: DriversInsuranceAgency.com is owned and operated by Drivers Insurance Agency, Inc. All state insurance brands in our network are d/b/a (doing business as) names of Drivers Insurance Agency, Inc., not separate corporations. References to a state brand identify the Corporation operating under that brand name. Brand ownership does not imply that every product or service is available in every state; insurance activities remain subject to applicable licensing and authorization.
Effective October 27, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes Drivers Insurance Agency, Inc.’s corporate website, DriversInsuranceAgency.com. It explains current corporate inquiry practices and separately identifies planned services. State-brand websites, insurers, and particular insurance transactions may have their own notices. Read the notice presented where you provide information. See our Terms & Conditions and Disclosures.
Information collected and purposes
Our contact form collects your name, email address, inquiry topic, and message; phone number and organization are optional. We use this information to respond, handle resource partnerships or corrections, administer our business, and maintain appropriate records. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request details, and timestamps to operate and protect the site.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment details, driver’s license numbers, medical records, or other sensitive information through this corporate form. It is not an insurance application or a channel for claims, payments, or urgent coverage changes.
Service providers and other disclosures
We use WordPress, WP Engine hosting, SMTP2GO email delivery, and our receiving email service to operate the site and deliver inquiries. These services process information needed for their roles and may retain operational or delivery records. Authorized personnel use inquiries for the purposes described above. Information may also be disclosed as necessary to obtain professional advice, respond to lawful process, protect rights or security, or meet legal obligations.
The custom contact form does not intentionally store a separate copy of your message in the WordPress database. It uses short-lived hashed identifiers derived from IP addresses or email addresses for submission-rate controls. Messages and delivery records may remain in email systems and logs.
Insurance services and planned lead sales
Our business plans include insurance comparison and sales through appropriately licensed and authorized agencies, and, in selected markets, the sale of organically generated consumer inquiries to insurance providers or agencies. “Organic” describes how a visitor finds a resource; it does not constitute permission to sell information. “Real-time” describes intended prompt delivery and does not guarantee a response time, quote, or coverage.
The current corporate contact form is not a consumer lead-sale enrollment form. We do not sell inquiries submitted through this form or automatically distribute them to lead buyers. A general inquiry will not be repurposed for a future lead-sale program without the notices and permissions required for that use.
Before a separate quote or referral program collects information for paid distribution, its collection notice must explain the information involved, the receiving businesses or recipient categories as applicable, compensation, intended contact, and available choices. Required consent must be obtained through that program’s separate process. This policy does not itself authorize a sale, referral, or marketing communication.
Calls, texts, and email: TCPA and FCC rules
Visiting this site or submitting a corporate inquiry is not consent to automated marketing calls, marketing texts, or artificial or prerecorded voice advertising, including AI-generated voices. The inquiry checkbox authorizes a response about that inquiry only.
Where the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules require prior express written consent, a separate clear agreement identifying the authorized seller or callers, telephone number, and covered technology is required before those communications. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance.
You may ask us to stop marketing or revoke applicable calling or texting consent through our contact page, by calling 844-508-1234, or through another reasonable method. If you receive a marketing text from us, you may reply STOP. Requests will be honored within applicable legal deadlines. You may also use an unsubscribe option in marketing email. These choices do not waive your rights or authorize future outreach.
Financial information: GLBA and insurance privacy laws
The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable state insurance privacy rules may govern nonpublic personal information collected in insurance transactions. Where required, the responsible agency or insurer must provide transaction-specific financial privacy notices, explain permitted disclosures and applicable opt-out rights, and apply required safeguards. This corporate website notice does not replace those notices or permit otherwise prohibited sharing. A general inquiry is not a waiver of financial privacy rights.
Health information: HIPAA
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies to covered entities and business associates in qualifying activities; it does not automatically apply to every insurance agency or website. This corporate form is not designed to collect protected health information. This policy is not a HIPAA authorization, Notice of Privacy Practices, or business associate agreement. If a service involves a covered activity, the appropriate secure process, agreements, and notices must be established separately before that service handles protected health information.
Consumer reports: FCRA
This corporate form does not request a credit report or other consumer report. Submitting it does not authorize us to obtain or sell a report. If an insurance transaction later involves consumer reports, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires a permissible purpose and applicable disclosures, authorizations, and adverse-action notices. Where applicable, consumers have rights to obtain and dispute report information. The responsible report user must provide the transaction-specific information; this policy is not a substitute.
Children’s privacy: COPPA
This corporate service and inquiry form are intended for adults age 18 and older and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 or offer a child lead-sale program. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). An age statement does not remove obligations that apply if we learn we have collected a child’s information.
Cookies, external content, and AI
WordPress may use cookies for administrative sign-in and site functions. The custom corporate theme does not embed third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or chat widgets. Some state-brand images load from those brands’ websites, which receive technical request information. Linked sites have their own practices.
We use AI-assisted tools for website development and content workflows. The corporate contact form is not configured to automatically forward messages to an AI service. Additional analytics, advertising, AI processing, or lead-distribution features require a separate privacy review and appropriate notice before activation.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry and operational records as needed for the inquiry, business administration, security, dispute resolution, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the type of record, its purpose, and applicable requirements. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please use the appropriate agency or insurer’s designated channel for sensitive insurance information.
Your privacy choices and requests
Use our Contact Us page, call 844-508-1234, or write to the mailing address below to ask a privacy question, request access, correction or deletion, stop outreach, or submit a sale/sharing opt-out request. Identify your request and the contact information needed to locate it. Do not send identity documents or sensitive records through the general form. You can use the telephone or mail instead of the form’s inquiry-response checkbox.
Depending on your location, the activity, and applicable law, you may have rights to know or access information, obtain a copy, correct or delete it, opt out of sale, sharing or certain profiling, limit certain sensitive-information uses, or appeal a denial. Authorized agents may submit requests as permitted by law. We may verify identity or authority when appropriate for access and similar requests; we will not impose verification requirements prohibited for opt-outs. We will explain applicable denials and appeal options and will not discriminate for exercising protected rights. Legal retention duties and other applicable exceptions may limit a request.
The current corporate form does not sell inquiry information, and the corporate theme does not use cross-context behavioral advertising. Before introducing a covered sale or sharing activity, the relevant service must provide applicable opt-out mechanisms and support legally required browser preference signals. This notice does not claim that a future lead platform or automated preference-management system is already operating.
Changes and contact
We will post changes with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or obtain permission where required. Posting a revision does not retroactively supply consent for a new use.
